Eligibility Criteria for ETEA Test for Engineering University Admissions
Applicants who have passed the Intermediate (Pre-Engineering/Computer Science) examination with a combination of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Computer Science from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Pakistan—or an equivalent qualification—are eligible to apply, provided they have secured at least 60% unadjusted marks.
Additionally, candidates who have successfully completed a three-year post-matriculation B-Tech or Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) with a minimum of 60% unadjusted marks are also eligible. Applicants awaiting their final results are permitted to appear in the ETEA Entrance Exam.
ETEA Admissions Test 2025 for BSc Engineering Program
The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar has released the 2025 schedule for the ETEA Engineering Entry Test, the mandatory exam for admission to engineering programs at universities and colleges across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. All candidates seeking entry to public or private engineering institutions in the province must clear this centralized test, which is conducted by the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA).

How to Apply for ETEA Test Admissions 2025 for Engineering
Interested candidates should begin by visiting the official ETEA website at www.etea.edu.pk. After successfully submitting the online application, a system-generated deposit slip will be provided. This slip will include the candidate’s personal details, project code, and a unique token number.
Candidates must print the deposit slip and pay the non-refundable test fee of Rs. 700/- at any UBL Bank branch or through the EasyPaisa app by selecting the OMNI agent option. Once the fee is deposited and the bank’s official stamp is affixed, do not share the original deposit slip with anyone.
ETEA will later send an SMS notification to candidates, prompting them to log in to www.etea.edu.pk to download and print their Roll Number Slips.
